Senior Full Stack Developer

What does the role involve?

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Product Team and help us advance our core SaaS platform. Your responsibilities will include constructing new features, optimizing scalability and performance, enhancing current abilities, and creating prototypes for new ideas and concepts. As our platform expands internationally, your efforts will be crucial in driving its success.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist the CTO, Product Manager, and other Senior Developers with making key technical decisions
  • Work closely with the UI Designer to deliver a world-class UX experience
  • Participate in analysis, design, and estimation with the rest of the team
  • Write clean, scalable, and self-documenting code
  • Write unit and integration tests where they add value
  • Ensure frontends work cross-platform and are responsive at all breakpoints
  • Develop fast, secure, scalable, and performant REST APIs
  • Design and develop database tables, indexes, views, and SQL queries
  • Stay up to date with all of the industry's trends and best practices
  • Team player, happy to share knowledge and skills and collaborate with others

The successful candidate will require:

  • 5+ years of full-stack development experience
  • 3+ years of C#, .Net Framework, and .Net Core experience
  • Project experience with ReactJS, particularly with hooks, context, etc.
  • A S.O.L.I.D understanding of design principles
  • Strong experience with database design, optimization, and scaling
  • A demonstrated history of constructing REST APIs and understanding the HTTP spec
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail
  • A passion for development and a commitment to learning and improving your skills
  • A belief that quality is the responsibility of everyone

Product Marketing Specialist

We are currently looking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Product Marketing Specialist (ideally based in Perth) to support the Product Manager in designing, developing and implementing robust and measurable product marketing communications and campaigns.

What does the role involve?

As our first Product Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in driving and implementing our go-to-market strategy—working on product positioning, messaging, sales enablement, and building ongoing demand for products within the Komo portfolio. You will be experienced in delivering end-to-end marketing campaigns using the full marketing mix; have experience of the full campaign process (planning, briefing, developing, executing and measuring) and possess strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.

You’ll spend a lot of time helping our current and potential customers to better understand how our products can solve their problems, so we’re looking for a confident and competent communicator and storyteller. 

The successful role holder will work closely with our key stakeholders, increasing brand and product visibility within the company and maximising joint opportunities that support our growth plans and sales goals. In addition, the role holder will develop and execute marketing activities for our product externally, working to increase brand awareness and sales; inform and train our customers and our staff.

You’ll strive to deliver exceptional customer service and meet customers’ expectations, whilst consulting with key stakeholders to shape ideas and initiatives in line with business objectives, communicating regularly with the branch network to understand and improve engagement with campaigns.

The successful candidate will require:

  • Product Marketing experience, ideally within the Tech/SaaS industry or similar
  • An understanding of business strategy and an ability to translate this into compelling messaging, marketing tactics and storytelling that helps our customers get excited about Komo
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,with the credibility to influence key stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally
  • The ability to collaborate and engage with Customers
  • Strong Presentation and Analytical skills, with excellent copywriting abilities and strong project management skills
  • Experience using Design Software is preferable
  • The ability to work as part of a team but a confident self-starter with exceptional attention to detail

We are searching for a stand-out, passionate event planning extraordinaire (ideally Perth-based) to join the Komo family and make a real impact in growing our events business. Working in one of Australia’s most exciting MarTech Scale-ups, we are very particular in what we are searching for – Someone who is the right fit for the Komo team and equally, the right fit for the candidate. Our Go to Market team is looking for an Event & Project Coordinator with a minimum of two years of experience managing B2B conferences and project management experience. You will handle events from start to finish, leading a cross-functional in-house team alongside external vendors. As the primary point of contact for B2B events, you will primarily coordinate with event owners or organisers, Komo sales and marketing teams, and conference exhibitors. Our ideal candidate has experience in marketing or event management, has successfully worked on events with 250-1000+ attendees, and has a great deal of self-sufficiency in accomplishing their duties. We aim to increase the number of corporate events booked across APAC, and we hope you can help us get there.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be well-organised with an impeccable track record in customer service and  providing above-and-beyond experiences
  • Have excellent communication with all clients with an ability to build rapport and  ready to assist in the event planning journey
  • Identify the client’s requirements and expectations, ensuring all is carried out with the greatest attention to detail whilst multitasking along the way
  • Liaise with the client's vendors and stakeholders during the event planning process to help bring the client's vision to life and manage all event logistics including overseeing set up
  • Up-sell and secure package inclusions with Komo industry friends
  • Create, manage & update event orders as well as conduct weekly event order meetings with key staff to hand over to relevant stakeholders
  • Manage and oversee assigned projects from beginning to end - including budgetary requirements
  • Research, source and secure opportunities for new clients and events
  • Be ahead of the game, passionate and follow the trends in the events industry with sound food and beverage knowledge

Graphic Designer

We are looking for a Designer with a minimum of 1-2 years of industry experience to join our very fast-paced start-up. As the Designer, you will explore and conceptualise design options and solutions that maintain Komo’s vision and creative beliefs, while at the same time delivering great ideas and beautifully crafted concepts and delivered with logic with the customer in mind.

Komo Technologies is a well-funded SaaS scale-up that helps enterprise brands capture first-party data and grow their sales through interactive content which can be easily created using the Komo self-service platform. We’re a growing team of talented and passionate people. 

What does the role involve?

You will work either independently or in collaboration with the team and stakeholders to evaluate design options, and develop and push to find design solutions based on strategy and the creative brief. We are looking for solutions and for you to push your boundaries, and comfort zones and grow with us and our clients.

You will develop straightforward design approaches to complex design challenges across Komo’s clientele’s Digital Campaigns, our own media, social and digital channels, productions and product. You will need to be able to balance multiple projects at once, work well in a team environment, have a positive attitude and above all be passionate about your work.

If you have a strong knowledge of digital design, and high proficiency in Figma, Illustrator and/or Photoshop this could be the role for you. The role does require a positive, ‘CAN DO’ attitude with the ability to multi-task across the product, marketing, social, PR, events and digital teams and channels.
