Magic Round is a festival of Rugby League where all eight Telstra Premiership games are played at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane. It offers a unique opportunity for our partners to engage with the +150,000 attendees in stadium precinct across the weekend. With all the colour and crowds of Magic Round, it can be difficult for fans to know all the activity happening in precinct, so we launched a Magic Round Scavenger Hunt game in partnership with Komo. The Scavenger Hunt execution both educated our fans on activity in-precinct, and incentivised them to interact and participate with all of the branded activations. The more activations they ticked off their list, the higher their chance of winning prizes. We saw fantastic engagement with both the Scavenger Hunt and our activations more broadly across the weekend and we can’t wait to run it back again next year.
